Swiss Manufacture
Cuervo y Sobrinos has always made watches in Switzerland and today the brand’s headquarters are located in Lugano. All of the watches are made with meticulous care for the smallest details which tie this brand to the aesthetic cannons of the Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau.

HISTORY
1882
In 1882 Ramón Fernández y Cuervo founded Cuervo y Sobrinos with his nephew Armando Río y Cuervo in Havana. The first shop was located at Calle Teniente Rey 13.
Golden Age
Cuervo y Sobrinos flourished in the early twentieth century. The Havana flag-ship boutique documented an illustrious clientele that included Churchill, Einstein, Hemingway and many more……
Prestige
Due to Cuervo y Sobrinos’ prestige leading watch manufacturers of the era such as Rolex, Patek Philippe and Longines, produced double branded watches with “Cuervo Sobrinos” engraved on the dial.
Legacy
In 1959 Cuervo y Sobrinos’ Havana headquarters closed their doors. Today the original decor and vaults can still be seen, the locale is now a clothes store called Praga.
